How it works
Enter your birth date and the age you hope to reach. Your whole life is drawn as a grid: each row is one year and each box is one week. Green boxes are weeks already lived, orange is this week, and empty boxes are the time you have left.
Formula
Weeks lived = full years × 52 + weeks since your last birthday
Total weeks = target age × 52 · left = total − lived
Days left are counted on the real calendar up to the birthday when you reach the target age.
FAQ
Where does the "life in weeks" idea come from?
From Tim Urban's "Your Life in Weeks" post on Wait But Why, which draws a 90-year life as a grid with one row per year and 52 boxes per row. It shows that a lifetime is limited and countable, which helps you spend time on what matters.
Why 52 boxes a year?
A year is 52 weeks plus 1–2 days, so the grid uses 52 boxes per row so each row is exactly one year of age. The first box in each row is the week of your birthday that year.
What target age should I pick?
Whatever you hope to reach. Life expectancy in Thailand is around 75–80 (women tend to live longer than men), but health and lifestyle vary a lot. Try a few targets to compare.
Is my birth date stored?
No. Everything is calculated on your device and the date only lives in the page link. If you do not want others to see it, do not share a link that contains your birth date.
