How it works
Paste text typed with the wrong keyboard layout and it is converted back instantly. Auto mode only changes the wrong words and keeps correct ones. To convert everything one way, choose "To Thai" or "To English".
Formula
Each character is mapped by its key position: the same key gives a Thai and an English character.
; → ว · y → ั · o → น · u → ี · h → ้ · k → า · N (Shift) → ์
;yoouh;yovkmb9pN → วันนี้วันอาทิตย์ · ้ำสสน → hello
FAQ
Why did my typing come out as gibberish?
The keyboard was set to the other language. The same key gives a different letter in Thai and English, so "วันนี้" typed with the English layout becomes ";yoouh". This tool maps each key back.
How does Auto mode decide which words to convert?
Word by word (split on spaces). English-looking text is converted to Thai when the result is valid Thai spelling. Thai text that cannot be valid Thai, such as a word starting with a tone mark, is converted to English. Correct words, numbers, links and emails are left alone.
What if Auto mode gets it wrong?
Choose "To Thai" or "To English" to convert the whole text in one direction. This works best when everything was typed in the wrong layout.
Which keyboard layouts are supported?
The Thai Kedmanee layout (the standard on most computers and phones) paired with the US QWERTY layout. Pattachote is not supported yet.
